Lets Put On a Show.

Let's have a show. Let's have a party. It's time that Calarts got back in touch with its feminist roots. We've got amazing women and we've got amazing art and it's time for that sacred union to be celebrated . Perhaps "sacred union" is a bit over the top but we have to admit that an feminist art collective is well overdue in our institution. So this is what this blog is for. I'm not exactly sure how one starts an official collective. But I'm sure as hell dedicated to putting on a show during the 09-10 academic calendar year. So Lets give it a go. This is a call to arms for powerful women and men who admire them to submit works of art dealing with any and every issue of feminism imaginable. This will be an open show anyone can submit work and anyone can help out. As far as the blog is concerned it will hopefully act as a source of inspiration, and my wish is that anyone can contribute to this blog as well. So if your interested in that e-mail me and i'll invite you to join. So thats it guys I hope you're as excited as I am. We are on to the start of something great!!!
